Welcome to Calvary Church! We’re glad that you are planning to join us. Here are the answers to a few typical first-time guest questions:
9:00 & 10:45am | Sanctuary
Both services are identical.
What will my children do all morning?
Lil' S.S. Adventure is available for children birth through young fives. Use Entrance A from the parking lot and take the grand staircase off the Crosswalk to the Calvary Kids Check-In Area.
S.S. Adventure is available for children in kindergarten through fourth grade.
Classroom check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the start of the service and ends 15 minutes after it starts.
Note: Room 135 is available for those who need a quiet place to nurse. The room is equipped with chairs and a diaper changing station. There is also a parent room located near room 136 where the service can be viewed with your child.
Middle School Ministry is available for students in 5th-8th grade during the 10:45am service (except on Family Service Sundays). 5th/6th meets in room 108 and 7th/8th meets in room 208.
What is the worship service like?
In the service, we gather to hear God speak from His Word and to confess Jesus Christ as Lord in worship. During times of singing, you might see a choir, organ, orchestra, band or a mixture of all of these. Services are usually 75 minutes long.
Where do I park?
There are plenty of parking spaces available. To find the entrance and parking lot best suited for you, a printable map is available.
Drop-off areas are located at both Main Entrances. Guides will be available to assist you into church and wait with you while your loved one parks. A drop-off canopy at Entrance C provides additional protection from the elements.
Where should I go when I arrive?
If you feel a little puzzled, come straight to the Welcome Center, located in the center of the Crosswalk just inside the Main Entrances (A & B). We would love to meet you! Our Guest Services Team will help get you and your family settled for the morning and answer any questions you have about Calvary.
Are there classes offered for adults?
We offer Adult Sunday Classes on an every other week schedule. Classes are made up of various size groups of people that meet for fellowship, education and outreach on Sunday mornings.
Is there assistance for the hearing impaired?
Yes! A Hearing T-Loop is available on the main floor in the Sanctuary, rows E through T. For more details, visit the Chapel Information Center just inside Entrance C in the East End.
Is the service translated for non-English speaking attendees?
Yes! During the 9:00 service, the songs and sermon are interpreted into Mandarin and Farsi. At 10:45, the worship service is interpreted into both Korean and Arabic. Anyone needing interpretation can pick up a receiver at the Information Counter located near the entrance to the Sanctuary.
